Reflections on Lochan na h-Achlaise at Rannoch Moor. The mountains in the background are collectively known as the Black Mount and even in early summer, there are still traces of snow on the summit ridges.

Professional landscape and travel photographer, John McKinlay has worked extensively in Scotland, Saharan North Africa, Cyprus, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy and especially in Portugal where he is now based for about half the year, teaching the techniques of travel photography in Southern Europe.
